为认真贯彻县委农工部的新农村建设工作要求，江洲镇本着打造“江洲模式”为目的，统筹规划，科学部署，着手细微实处，力争实现2012年新农村建设工作的突破。
“江洲模式”亦是以江洲的独特地理环境，人文居住环境和农业生产环境为着力点建设新农村，出亮点出特色。
在整体规划上，江洲镇2012年新农村选址后埂村解家墩，该点农户居住整齐，民风淳朴，利于开展“整村推进”，并且能够结合市县“菜篮子”工程依托蔬菜基地发展产业。
为顺利开展新农村建设，在镇党委政府的要求下，镇新农村对解家墩的108户居民逐一建立档案，明确工作计划，不拘一格，将个体特点凸显到极致，目前各家各户的拆旧工作已全面启动。
